Thank you, and welcome to my private studio. I am so glad you have chosen me to be your private instructor. While my instrument is trumpet, I have studied choral and wind instrument pedagogy during my time earning my BA. Originating in Phoenix, my background as a trumpet player and musician started in fourth grade. I kept playing all through high school where my love for music, education and the trumpet was truly solidified. I pursued my music education degree from Glendale Community College and The University of Arizona under the trumpet direction of Bill Humbert and Jason Carder and completed my degree in May of 2021. Throughout my collegiate time, I played in numerous ensembles including small brass quintets and wind ensembles. I enjoyed performing as a soloist on trumpet and vocally. I have worked with students of all ages both privately and publicly on the trumpet. Having the opportunity to educate and guide your musical abilities towards whatever your goals may be; it is truly an honor and I cannot wait to get started.
